Care and security for our guests is always a high priority, we hope you already know and have experienced when you have visited us before. In the situation that we are in now, we understand that there can be many safety and health issues. We therefore want to take the opportunity to tell you a little more about everything that is being done at us right now so that you feel extra security when you visit us.

The health and wellbeing of both visitors and employees is our absolute focus. We follow the developments in detail and act in accordance with the recommendations and rules of our authorities due to the Corona virus.

During our 56 years as a hotel and restaurant company, good hygiene with associated routines has always been our priority. Our routines make us feel safe to continue to welcome guests at our hotel and in our restaurant.

Restaurant and meals

  • We have reviewed our cleaning routines and increased the cleaning frequency. In addition to this, we are extra careful about cleaning handles, taps, flush buttons and other contact surfaces.
  • All staff who are sick, or feel symptoms, stay home from work, notify their manager and contact 1177 (health care).
  • Protect yourself and others from the spread of infection. Keep distance and avoid close contact, follow our signs and our staff’s instructions.
  • Disinfectants and soaps are available in all toilets.
  • Stations with disinfectants are located in the restaurant
  • We have healthcare trained staff available in our house.
  • We have greater distances between the tables and place guests with greater distances both inside and outside
  • We ensure a good spread of guest numbers by directing guests at different times.

If you have a reservation and cannot come, do not forget to cancel and then as early as possible, it helps our planning a lot.

We are open almost as usual, but please call before visiting us in the evening or during the weekend in the restaurant.

Buy and pick up take away meals that we offer both for lunch and dinner

We offer room service if you want to have dinner, lunch or breakfast in the room instead of in our restaurant. A smaller cost is added.

A minibar with wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages is available in all rooms and suites.

Kettles with coffee powder and tea are also available in all rooms and suites.

Nespresso coffee machine is available in our suites and riverside de luxe rooms

We have introduced routines and monitoring at our breakfast buffet so that queuing or congestion does not occur. It is important that you follow our instructions. The buffet is to a greater extent portion-packed and can be chosen to be enjoyed on site or taken to the room.

You can also get a breakfast bag which you can pick up in the restaurant, which can be enjoyed on site or taken with you. If you wish to receive a breakfast bag, it must be pre-ordered at the time of booking or at the latest the day before.

We offer home delivery of meals for 10 people or more

We have opened our outdoor dining extra early this year for those who want to eat out in the fresh air. Of course also with greater distance between the tables. It is also important that you as a guest do not move around the furniture so that distances to other guests can be kept.

In connection with the outdoor dining and pool area we also have a bar / kiosk with drinks, ice cream, coffee and more.

We serve our daily lunch on a buffet. Congestion and hygiene rules apply. Please follow signage instructions and staff instructions.

We also have a summer lunch with different dishes to choose from, served on a plate at the table.

We close our buffet with Sunday brunch and replace it with served lunch.

As all employees are currently working less to save costs, we have limitations in our opening of our personal booking service. We are always available Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 1 pm if you want to call us and other times that may vary.

If you send e-mails or chat with us, we always respond as soon as we have the opportunity, but in the current situation it can sometimes take a little longer.

Our rooms and suites are spread out in different houses, almost all of them have an individual entrance and all have their own separate balcony or patio. This means that the risk of meeting other people close in is minimal.

Pools and Spa baths are chlorinated according to the Public Health Authority’s directives and recommendations on what levels of chlorine should be added in pools and pools to ensure that dangerous bacteria and viruses are killed, which means that the Covid-19 virus also dies in contact with chlorinated water.

Our relaxation area with Spa pool is rented for private use and cleaned between each use.

At our outdoor pools there is a restriction on the number of people to avoid congestion.

Getting out in the nature without congestion and contact with others is a good way to feel better.

Around Hestraviken and Isaberg there are a variety of activities that you can do in nature. Hiking, MTB cycling, canoeing, rowing, golf, fishing and more.

Equipment such as bicycles, boats, canoes, etc. which can be borrowed from us we do a special cleaning of on the contact surfaces.

In connection with the risk of spreading the Corona virus, we understand that many meetings and conferences are now not conducted.

Having smaller meetings with others that you still meet in their daily working life works great with us as you do not need to meet any other guests. We have completely separate meeting rooms in different houses. Meals and coffee can be served in or in connection with the meeting room. Since we are close to nature, we recommend that you do some kind of activity outside, for example. goes for a walk in the woods.

We all also need a little change and see other environments than just seeing the workplace and our home.

All individual bookings of packages with us are fully refundable & cancellable free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival. This applies to both existing and future bookings with arrival date including 30/6 (The condition for free cancellation or free re-booking is otherwise 14 days prior to arrival)

The following booking types apply to other rules

Room bookings with breakfast only “Flex” can be canceled at no charge as before until 18.00 the day before arrival.

Room and package bookings booked under special conditions “Non-cancellable” are not covered by the new cancellation and rebooking conditions.

For group bookings, special conditions apply for cancellations as stated in the confirmation / booking agreement.

Health care centre

Your first choice for minor injuries and illnesses

Go to the health care centre first.

You will get help if you have hurt yourself or if you are feeling unwell. Health care centre staff are experienced and have knowledge of most injuries and illnesses. If necessary, you will be referred to a hospital.

When the health care centre is closed, you can access the county’s three evening and weekend on-call centres by calling 1177.

Accident and Emergency

Care in serious and lifethreatening situations

If you are seriously ill or have been seriously injured, you can seek help at an accident and emergency department. Patients in the greatest need of care are always treated first. There is an accident and emergency department at every hospital in Jönköping county. They are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Call for an ambulance by dialling 112 if you or someone else needs immediate emergency care.

The nearest pharmacy is located in Gnosjö about 10 km from Hestraviken.

If you urgently need blood clots, pain pills, etc. it is available at the reception desk.

Knowledge is the first step to safety

you should always find out where emergency exits, alarms and fire extinguishers are available. If you notice any defects in safety, please report this to the reception immediately. Our staff is trained in fire extinguishing and evacuation.

If you discover a fire or smell smoke

  • Alert the hotel´s reception 0370336800 or telephone the emergency number 112 – from a safe place (Address for the emergency services: Hestraviken, Restaurangvillan, Hestra, Gislaveds kommun)
  • If the corridor is filled with smoke, stay in the room
  • Take the room key with you if you leave the room. You may need to return if your escape is blocked.
  • If the fire is small and limited to small area, use the fire extinguish.
  • If it is not possible to extinguish the fire, close the door of the room that is on fire.

If you hear the alarm

  • Leave the room if the corridor is free of smoke.
  • Take the room key with you and make your way to the nearest emergency exit.
  • Do NOT use the lift.

If you cannot leave the room

  • Telephone the reception or 112 and say that you are still in the room
  • Block ventilation grills and gaps under doors with wet towels.
  • Move all inflammable materials away from the windows.
  • Stand near a window so that you ca be seen from outside and try to attract attention
  • If the room starts to fill with smoke, open a window
  • Do NOT jump, Wait for instuctions from the emergency services.
  • In a smoke-filled room you will be able to see and breath better if you crouch or lie down on the floor.

Fire alarm

All our rooms are equipped with fire detectors / smoke decks. The manor villa  rooms 42-48, relax, gym and the restaurant villa have automatic alarm to the emergency service. Alarm buttons for autmatic alarm are located inside the entrance door in Herrgårdsvillan and in the restaurant on the wall in the hall just before entering the bar.

Respect fire alarms and evacuate even if you do not see any fire or smoke

Fire extinguisher

Fire extinguishers are outside your room outdoors at the entrances or in the corridor.

Evacuation

All rooms have two escape routes, the entrance door and the balcony or terrace door. Do not use elevators when evacuating and closing doors to reduce fire spread! A meeting place for evacuation is in the parking lot outside the reception.

The first few minutes are often crucial in a serious event. In anticipation of the ambulance, everyone can benefit and every effort is important.
