We are flexible and accommodate most requests. However, certain special diet options beyond our standard offerings may incur an additional charge.

We are not an allergen-free kitchen, meaning traces of allergens such as gluten and nuts may be present. We are unable to accommodate airborne allergies.

To ensure the best experience, please inform us well in advance of any allergies or special dietary requirements we need to consider.

No, spa entry is not automatically included. It is only included in our spa packages, which come with a pre-booked time slot.

Have you booked a room with breakfast or a package without spa entry?
In that case, you can add one or more time slots for an additional fee.

For two-night packages, spa entry is sometimes included for only one day. Would you like to visit the spa on both days or on your departure day? You can easily add extra time slots at a discounted rate.

Cancellation Policy and Refunds

All cancellations must be made in writing via email to info@hestraviken.se.

If your booking has been prepaid, we will refund the amount to the same card used for payment. Please note that it may take up to seven business days for the refund to appear in your account. The refund amount depends on when the cancellation occurs:

Packages and Offers
  • Free cancellation and rescheduling up to seven days before arrival.
  • For cancellations made between six days and the arrival date, 85% of the amount will be charged, meaning 15% will be refunded.
  • Note: A rescheduling is considered a cancellation followed by a new booking.
Bed & Breakfast Flex
  • Free cancellation and rescheduling until 6:00 PM the day before arrival.
  • For later cancellations, the first night will be charged, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
  • Note: A rescheduling is considered a cancellation followed by a new booking.
Bed & Breakfast – Non-Refundable
  • No free cancellation or rescheduling.
  • In case of cancellation or rescheduling, 100% of the amount will be charged, and no refund will be issued.

Groups and Meetings

Cancellation policies for groups of more than 10 people and meetings may vary. Please contact us for more information and specific terms.

We offer dog-friendly rooms in Villa 4, Villa 5, and our standalone cottages. Please note that availability for these rooms cannot be seen in our online booking system, so we recommend contacting us directly to book and ensure a dog-friendly room is available.

Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant, but they are warmly welcome on our outdoor terrace during the warmer months.

Yes, we have done our best to create an accessible and comfortable environment for all guests.

  • Hotel Rooms: All rooms on floors above ground level are accessible by elevator.
  • Restaurant and Entrances: Our restaurant has an entry ramp, and the entrances to the Spa Villa, restaurant, meeting villa, and reception are equipped with automatic doors for easy access.
  • Wheelchair-Friendly Rooms: The best options for wheelchair users are in the Spa Villa, where bathrooms and doorways are extra spacious.
  • Specially Adapted Room: We also have a specially adapted room in Villa 5, equipped with toilet arm supports, a shower stool, and a lower sink for improved accessibility.
  • Parking: We offer designated parking spaces near entrances for guests with reduced mobility.

What is the check-in time?
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.

When is the check-out time?
For individual guests, check-out is no later than 11:00 AM on the day of departure.
For meetings and groups, check-out is no later than 10:00 AM.

Can we get an early check-in or late check-out?
If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us, and we will do our best to find a solution that suits you.

Our organic and nutritious countryside breakfast buffet is served:

  • Monday to Friday: 07:00 – 10:00
  • Saturday: 07:00 – 10:30
  • Sunday: 07:30 – 10:30

The buffet includes fresh fruit, homemade bread, house-made muesli, jams, cold cuts, cheeses, Britta’s herring, bacon, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, smoothies, and much more.

Guests who are not staying at the hotel are also welcome to enjoy our breakfast, subject to availability. We recommend that external guests book a table in advance.
