Since 2010 Isaberg GK arranged Isaberg Open, which is part of the Nordea Tour. The players on the tour think Isabergs courses have amazing greens.

Isaberg Golfklubb in Hestra can offer two of Sweden’s most beautiful and popular golf courses. The courses are located in the historic setting in Nissaforsbruk and is surrounded by woods and water. Western course, parkland course is par 72 and severity 3. East Course, Forest course, par 72 and severity 5. Both courses are hilly. In addition to the two 18-hole courses are a short course with 6 holes and friendly exercise areas.

The Club

Isaberg has an elegant clubhouse with restaurant and locker rooms. It also has a driving range, practice area, putting greens, golf carts and a well-stocked golf shop.

Good reviews

Isaberg was ranked as the third best course in Sweden by the Swedish golfer in a survey of 42 000 green fee players. The magazine Golf Digest gives the greens at Isaberg top grades and ranks the course as the 31 best in Sweden in 2014. Many of the guest players believe that the last four holes of the East Course is one of Sweden’s most beautiful holes.

Layout on the West course

Western course is demanding. The first nine are considered by many to be the club’s “lightest” niohålsslinga, but they require good planning. Other nine is narrower, more rugged and often felt beyond the score card indicates.

The East Course is decisive. Many holes require long drives, but perhaps above all, a good strategy and skillful short game. The four finishing holes along the Nissan and Hammarsjön considered by many to hear Sweden’s most beautiful – and they are not easy!
